Vampires before dark

It was Monday evening when we went. All the bags where packed and the taxi was set to go. I was exited, really. But when we arrived there, my heart sank as I looked at my new house:

It was a giant, grey castle.Next to it was a bunch of dead roses and a broken chair. Who would want to live in such a horrible place?

I looked up at my parents, to see if they agreed with me,but instead of strange look at the owner and a “come lets go.” all they did was shrug and say “this house will need some repairing ,but we’ll be all right!” At once the owner smiled awkwardly and ran out of the garden leaving us staring at the front door.

”Well, what a nice house.”dad said smiling awkwardly at us and lifting a suit case. I gasped as mom put the key in the lock. It felt like hours as the doors were opened, as I explored the house and as evening came, as I lay in my uncomfortable bed with a broken window letting the cold air come in.

Suddenly, as quick as lightning,a bat swooped in through the window and around in circles.

BOOM!!!

There was a blinding flash and just about where the bat was a man sized figure stud. Who was he? What was he doing here? All those questions were answered just as the flash stopped.

It was a man. Not only was it a man, it was also a…

…vampire.
